DUBLIN – Hazel Lois Stanton, 88, formerly of Dublin, Indiana passed away early Saturday morning, March 22, 2014 at Millers Merry Manor in Marion, Indiana. She was born on March 16, 1929 to Carl and Pauline (Haisley) Jackson in Centerville, Indiana. Hazel graduated with the Lincoln High School class of 1944. She was married to Clarence E. "Casey" Stanton who passed away on May 29, 2004. Hazel was a loving, caring and committed homemaker and a member of the Friends Fellowship Church in Marion where she was active in children's ministry.

Survivors include two sons, Jerry L. Stanton, Thomas E. Stanton; three sisters, Doris Funkhouser of Dublin, Mary Sourbeer of Pershing, Marge Swim of Spiceland.

Hazel was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Jackson; sisters, Jean Sherwood, Janet Summan, Betty Kemmer.

Private graveside services will be held at South Lawn Cemetery, Dublin. Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin has been entrusted with the arrangements.
