MILTON - Hazel Alice Pugh, 79, of Milton went to be with the Lord Wednesday morning, September 24, 2014 at Reid Hospital in Richmond. She was born in Henry County on February 13, 1935 to Harold and Edna (Moschel) Roosa. Hazel grew up in the Western Wayne community and was a 1953 graduate of Lincoln High School. She married Mitchell H. Pugh on April 30, 1955 in Richmond where they lived until 1961 then moved to Milton. Hazel worked at the Dunreith Canning Factory, as a cook at Miller Cafeteria and Perfect Circle Cafeteria, and also delivered school buses. She was an active member of the Milton United Methodist Church and a member of the women's group. She enjoyed baking and spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Mitchell Pugh; children, Marilynn (Jack) Collins of Hagerstown, Michael (Becky) Pugh of Ocala, Florida, Terrie Kennedy of Milton, Martin Pugh of Milton; grandchildren, Misty Adams, Christopher Colins, Jocasta (Rich) Weber, Anthony (RaeAnn) Kennedy; great-grandchildren, Laney and Abigail Adams, Zachary and Wezlee Brown, Devon and Dominic Weber; brother, Harold Roosa, Jr. of Kansas; sister, Charolette Hoffman of Richmond. Hazel was preceded in death by her parents and her younger brother, Arnol Roosa. Visitation will be on Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Burial will follow at Westside Cemetery, Milton.
