CONNERSVILLE- Hazel E. Hassler, 87, passeda away on Sunday evening January 27, 2013 at Hickory Creek of Connersville. A daughter of the late Norman and Charity (Sampson) Oxendine, Hazel was born in Pembroke, North Carolina on June 18, 1925. A homemaker she was also co owner and operator of the Hannah House Restaurant on Brookville Lake. Survivors include 1 son, Eric Hassler; 4 daughters, Donna Sue Hudson, Angela K. Rihm, Barbara Sims and Connie Zeckman Markowitz. Cremation will take place at the Eastern Indiana Crematory in Lewisville. No public services are planned at the time.
