MILTON - Gloria Bicknell, 57, passed away at her home in Milton early Monday morning November 6, 2017. A daughter of the late John E. and Phyllis J. (Glisson) Grubbs, Gloria was born in New Castle, Indiana on April 15, 1960. Gloria grew up in the Jacksonburg community. She and her family moved to Hagerstown where she graduated high school with the class of 1978. Gloria retired from the Richmond State Hospital in July of 2015 after 30 years of service. She was a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary- Hagerstown Post #333. Gloria was a loving wife and mother who loved to spend any time possible with her grandchildren. In her leisure, she enjoyed camping, fishing, boating and watching her son race at Mt. Lawn.

Survivors include her husband of 18 years, Bart L. Bicknell. They were married in Gatlinburg, Tennessee on May 1, 1999. 2 children, Ross (Melissa) Lane of Greensburg and Khrystal Bicknell of Greenwood; 6 grandchildren, Sara, Brian, Dylan, Brooklyn, Kristopher and Alex; 2 great grandsons, Ryan and Blade; 1 brother, Danny Grubbs of Havelock, NC; and her special canine companion, Rowdy.

Gloria was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Timothy Grubbs on August 7, 2002 and Tracy Grubbs on November 9, 1980.

Funeral services for Gloria will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday November 11, 2017 at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Burial will follow at the Jacksonburg Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. on Friday November 10th.
