CAMBRIDGE CITY- Gladys Vivian (Spalding) Todd, 82 passed away on Tuesday evening August 20, 2013 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana. A daughter of the late Carl and Gladys (Knott) Spalding, Gladys was born in Richmond, Indiana on April 27, 1931. Gladys was a homemaker and in her leisure she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, reading and was an avid Facebook user. She loved to spend time with her family. Survivors include her husband, Wayne G. Todd Sr. whom she married on May 5, 1949. 3 children, Betty (Larry) Sturgis and Wayne (Kathi) Todd both of Cambridge City and Kimberly (Ray) Lee of Chesterfield, Missouri; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 6 siblings, Charlotte Grable, Richard and James Spalding all of Albuquerque, Joan Bailey of Denver, Colorado, Jerry Spalding of Richmond and Betty June Jackson of Muncie. Gladys was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Carl, George, Albert, and Eddie Spalding; 1 sister Patricia Ann Spalding. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 noon on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Pastor Chris Sitler will officiate. Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery, Dublin.
