Franklin- Gerald "Jerry" David Meyers, 57, of Franklin, Indiana went to be with the Lord on Friday July 10, 2009 at the St. Frances Heart Center in Indianapolis. Jerry was born in Connersville, Indiana on October 30, 1951. He grew up in the New Lisbon and Milton communities and was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Cambridge City. He had lived in Hagerstown before moving to Franklin 7 years ago. Jerry had worked for several employers and was most recently employed as a maintenance engineer in Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Liliah (Foster) Meyers of Milton. Survivors include his wife of nearly 37 years, the former Pamela Jeanne Clawson. They were married in Cambridge City on August 18, 1972; 3 children- Jerimi (Karen) Meyers of Terre Haute, Robert (Elisabeth) Meyers of Franklin and Heidi (Bryan) Murray of Franklin; 5 grandchildren- Lilian, Olivia, Elliot, Pamela and Addelaide; also leaving behind, Jeanne and Daryl Wonderly, Rick and Beth Leisure, Jeremy and Sarah Pierre, Nick and Shanesse Leisure; great nieces and nephews. Following Cremation, visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. till the time of Memorial Services at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday July 14, 2009 at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, 1993 Cumberland St. / Dublin, IN 47335 In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions can be made in memory of Jerry to Camp Wabashi- 3525 E.
