Milton: George Edward Fisher, 64, of Milton, passed away Friday October 23, 2009 at the Reid Hospital & Health Care in Richmond. He was born on February 24, 1945 in New Castle, IN, the son of Malcolm and Ruby (Shepard) Fisher. On June 26, 1966 in Dublin, IN George married Marilyn Jarvis whom survives him. George retired from Visteon in 1997 and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. George was a big NASCAR fan and he loved fixing things for everyone. He liked to fish and paint pictures. Surviving relatives include his wife of 43 years Marilyn Fisher of Milton, sons; Mark Fisher of Ft. Wayne and Brian Fisher of Pershing daughter; Kellie Laird of Cambridge City, 6 grandchildren; Cody Laird, Amanda Fisher, Kara Laird, Krysta Laird, Melody Fisher and Matthew Fisher, mother; Ruby Fisher of Dublin, brother; Paul Fisher (wife Mary) of Dublin, sister; Wanda Radcliff ( Dave) of Cambridge City, beloved dog Rusty, several nieces and nephews. Precededin death by father; Malcolm Fisher 12/29/1970, brother Melvin Kay Fisher 2/28/2004 and in-laws Raymond & Mary Jarvis. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday October 28, 2009 at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home in Dublin, with burial to follow at South Lawn Cemetery in Dublin. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday October 27, 2009 at the funeral home.
