MILTON- Freida G. Sparks, 79, passed away at her home in Milton on Thursday March 6, 2014. A daughter of the late Chester Earl and Edna Abby (Davis) Senn, Freida was born in southern Indiana, near Underwood, on August 19, 1934. Freida graduated from Connersville High School with the class of 1952 and has made her home in Milton since 1965. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Freida had worked at Fayette Bank in Connersville, Cutshaws Market and the Golay Center in Cambridge City. Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Vernon Sparks. They were married in Connersville on February 20, 1953. 3 sons, Chester (Lori) Sparks of Milton, Randall (Cindy) Sparks of Muncie and CPT. Timothy (Brenda) Sparks of Goose Creek, SC; 5 grandchildren, Jessica Sparks, Jenny (Michael Goodwin) Sparks, Michele (Tom) Haler, Brandon and Dasan Sparks; 3 great grandchildren, Chase and Paige Conner, Octavia Swanson; 2 sisters, Joan Fox of Connersville and Carolyn (James) Ingle of Irving, TX. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 2 p.m. on Monday March 10, 2014 at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Burial will follow at the Westside Cemetery in Milton.
