CAMBRIDGE CITY- Frankie Jo Sturgis, 60, passed away on Tuesday morning December 27, 2011 at Ambassador Healthcare in Centerville, Indiana. A daughter of the late Joseph and Lena Grace (Renchen) Nash, Frankie was born in Trinity, (Lewis County) Kentucky on October 16, 1951. Frankie and her family moved to the Cambridge City community when she was 3 years old. She graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1969. A homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother, Frankie had worked in sales for Sears in Richmond. Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Jerry L. Sturgis. They were married in North Carolina on December 7, 1968. 3 children, David (Daria) Sturgis of Cambridge City, Lori Sturgis of Apple Valley, Minnesota and Chad (Mona) Sturgis of Fishers; 7 grandchildren; 1 brother, Donald Howard Nash of Winchester, Kentucky; 2 sisters, Wanda Faye Baker and Della Riggs both of Cambridge City. Frankie was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Charles Edward, Gary Steven and Samuel David Nash; 1 sister, Delores Ann Coonfield. Visitation will be from noon until the time of services at 2 p.m. on Friday December 30, 2011 at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Rev. Danny Berry will officiate.
