Obituary

GREENS FORK- Frances O. Terhaar, 69, passed away on Wednesday morning May 12, 2010 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana. A daughter of the late Maiden "Bill" and Margie (Kitts) Lambert, Frances was born in Burkes Garden, Virginia on February 17, 1941. Frances moved to Greens Fork, Indiana when she was 3 years old and attended school there. She married Joseph G. Terhaar on May 27, 1957 in Liberty. They raised their family on a farm west of Bentonville in Fayette County before moving back to Greens Fork 30 years ago. For the past 10 years Frances has worked at the Meijer Bakery in Richmond. A loving wife and mother, she loved spending time with her grandkids and enjoyed doll collecting. As a reflection for her care of others she had chosen to participate in the Gift of Life Donor Program. Survivors include her husband of nearly 53 years ; 5 children- Rodger (Shirley) Terhaar of Richmond, Danny (Helen) Terhaar of Greens Fork, Darlene Black of Richmond, Lisa (Tom) Pentecost of Greens Fork, Joseph G. (fiance' Kimberly Johnson) Terhaar Jr. of Greens Fork; 21 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 5 siblings- Midge Mattix of Dublin, Judy Rollins of New Castle, William "Pete" Lambert of Hardin, KY, Kenny Lambert of Winchester and Bonnie Weseler of Brownsville; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother- Alfred Lambert; niece- Cheryl Lambert; 2 nephews- Mike and Randy Lambert . Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday May 15, 2010 at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Burial will be at the Zion's Lutheran Cemetery in Pershing. Visitation will be from 4 - 8 p.m. on Friday May 14 and prior to the services on Saturday at the funeral home.
