Greenfield: Frances Ilene Lambert, 79, of Greenfield, passed away Thursday December 16, 2010 at the Kindred Hospital - South in Greenwood, Indiana. The daughter of the late Less G. and L. Ethel (Wolfe) Kimberlin, Frances was born on March 26, 1931 in Rocky Gap/ Bland County, Virginia. Formerly of the Cambridge City, Indiana area, Frances has lived in the Greenfield community for the past 53 years,. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, bowling and spending time with her grandchildren. Frances had worked in the cafeteria at Fort Benjamin Harrison and waitressed in several Greenfield restaurants. She was involved in the local flea market business including Twin Aire, south of Indianapolis, where she sold glassware and jewelry. Surviving relatives include 1 daughter- Linda L. (Curtis) Steele of Beavercreek, OH; 2 sons- Rev. Billy G. (Wilma F.) Lambert of Fortville and Timmy R. Lambert of Greenfield; granddaughter- Missy I. (Jimm) Sansabrino of Beavercreek OH; 4 great-grandchildren- Brandon, Amanda and Jessica Riggins, Enzo Sansabrino; great-great grandson; Kameron Riggins; 5 siblings- George Kimberlin of Tazewell, VA, Joyce Carlson of Georgia, Arlice Kimberlin of Greenfield, Bob Kimberlin of Trafalger and Jack Kimberlin of Virginia; several nieces and nephews. Frances was preceded in death by her husband- Elmer "Ted" Lambert on August 30, 1989. They were married in Harlan, Kentucky on May 21, 1947; 1 brother- Dewey Kimberlin; 1 sister- Dorothy Foist and infant sister- Virginia. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday December 21, 2010 at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, 1993 Cumberland Stret / Dublin, IN 47335. The Reverends Robert Thompson and Billy G. Lambert will officiate. Burial will follow at the Zion's Lutheran Cemetery in Pershing. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Monday December 20 at the funeral home.
