Milton - Faye Morris, 81, of Milton, Indiana passed away June 7, 2012 at Ambassador Health Care in Centerville, Indiana. A daughter of the late Amerida and Mary (Morris) Morris, she was born in Morris Fork, Kentucky on June 19, 1930. Formerly of Connersville, she has made her home in Milton for over fifty years. Faye was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, crocheting, and cooking for anyone who stopped by the house. She attended the Milton Christian Church. Faye is survived by her husband, Sam Morris whom she married in Morris Fork, Kentucky on September 3, 1949; two children, Carolyn Highmiller of Mays, and Tony Morris of Milton; three grandchildren, Anthony, Nathan (Donna), and Nicci Morris; six great grandchildren, Ashton, Brodie, Kane, Malory, Samuel, and Allayna Faye; two sisters, Della Newkirk of Middletown, Ohio, and Dorris (Junior) Johnson of Booneville, Kentucky; a special niece, Phyllis White of Moores Hill, Indiana; and a special friend, Goldie Claar of Hagerstown. Faye was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Morris and three brother-in-laws, Wilson Turner, Roscoe Newkirk, and Edwin Morris. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the Milton Christian Church, 307 S. Central Street, Milton, Indiana 47357, with Rev. Tom Cici presiding. Burial will follow at Westside Cemetery in Milton. The Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
