Texas- Everett Donald Smith, 74 of Kingwood, TX, formally of New Castle, passed away Tuesday September 22, 2009, in Kingwood, TX. He was born March 13, 1935 in New Castle the son of William and Dorothy (Huckabee) Smith. Everett grew up in New Castle, Indiana and was also a former resident of Sunrise and Clearwater, Florida. Everett worked as a certified general contractor in seven states working for the McDonald's Corporation. He served proudly on the board of directors for the Ronald McDonald House in Miami. He is survived by his wife Martha Jane (Gaddis) Smith of Kingwood, TX, daughter; Amanda (husband Steve) Block of Kingwood, TX,five gandchildren; Michael, Adam Block of Orlando, Florida, Danial, Kaitlyn and Marcus Block of Kingwood, TX, brother; Larry Smith of Clearwater, Florida, two sisters; Freda Skirvin of Williamsburg, VA and Ilene Baird of New Castle. He was preceded in death by a son Michael Smith, his parents, four brothers; Cletis, Robert, Ralph and Kenneth Smith. Services will be Saturday September 26, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin, with burial to follow at the Lewisville Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday September 25, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
