CONNERSVILLE – Elmo Duane Tollett, 67, passed away Thursday afternoon, February 29th, 2024, at Major Health Partners Medical Center in Shelbyville, Indiana, while surrounded by his loved ones. A son of the late Ray and Mattie (Proctor) Tollett, Elmo was born in New Castle, Indiana on February 24, 1957. He grew up in the Dublin community and graduated from Lincoln High School in Cambridge City. He has made his home in the Connersville area for the last 25 years and worked as a Hi-Lo operator for Ford/Visteon in Connersville, Valeo in Greensburg and most recently Roots Blower Company in Connersville.

Elmo is survived by his wife, Sandra (Deaton) Lane-Tollett, two children and several siblings; nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son, Benjamin Duane Tollett on September 5th, 2022.

Elmo wished to be memorialized privately. Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home has been entrusted with his cremation.
