NEW CASTLE-  Eileen Elliott, 72, passed away peacefully at her home in New Castle, Indiana on Tuesday evening November 19, 2019.  A daughter of the late Russell and Rachel (Strauzer) Jenkins, Eileen was born in Connersville, Indiana on April 5, 1947.  A homemaker, Eileen raised her family in the Western Wayne community and enjoyed taking care of her children and grandchildren.  She was an avid BINGO player, liked to fish, crochet blankets and pillows.  She was a member of the CB Radio Club operating with the handle "Grandma Kettle".

Survivors include, 5 children, Russell (wife Kathy), Jimmy, and Ralph Elliott, Rachel (husband John) Corn-Hampton and Monica (husband Tim) Corn; 13 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; 2 siblings, Ruthie Wolfe and Donald Jenkins; nieces and nephews.

Eileen was preceded in death by her son, Cecil Elliott; son in-law, Tommy Corn;

siblings, Phyllis Young, Bertha Rose, Gerry Conoway, Robert Jenkins; 2 step- brothers, Norman and Charles.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday November 23, 2019 at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin.  Rev. Henry Weaver will officiate.  Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City.  Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. on Friday November 22nd.
