Dustin Lee Flanigan "Bubba", 39, passed away on Wednesday May 6, 2026, at I.U. Health, University Hospital in Indianapolis surrounded by the love of his family.

He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend whose kindness, laughter, and adventurous spirit touched so many lives. He loved spending time outdoors, going to concerts, hunting. camping, four-wheeling, fishing, and making memories with the people he cared about most.

Dustin will be remembered for his warm heart, sense of humor, and the joy he brought to those around him. He had a strong faith in God that gave him strength throughout his life and brought comfort to those who knew him. He faced his battle with cancer and graft-versus-host disease with tremendous courage, strength, and resilience. He inspired those around him with his determination and faith.

He is survived by his Mother, Debbie Shelton; his Son, Gage Lee Flanigan; siblings, Danessa Hall (Christopher Hall), Daneta Payne, Theresa LeeAnn Darnell, Malissa Barton, Brother David LeRoy Flanigan; and many loving nieces and nephews, including Breanna, Caden, Jacob, Isaiah, Blake, Joshua, Michael, Ashley, Katelyn, Riley, Tristan, Goldie and Levi.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Lee Flanigan; his nephew, Michael Flanigan; grandparents, Roy, Bonnie, Charles and Juanita.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Dustin's life from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday May 13, 2026, at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home in Dublin, Indiana, Cremation will follow.

Though he is no longer with us, his memory and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and his family finds peace in knowing he is now resting in God’s eternal care.
