Dublin – Dorothy Ann Lipps, 69, of Dublin passed away at her home the morning of July 14th, 2026. A daughter of Earl and Iona (Harry) Howell, Dorothy was born on June 22nd, 1957, in New Castle, Indiana.

Dorothy worked as a Qualified Medical Assistant at Richmond State Hospital until she retired. She enjoyed caring for all kinds of animals, even baking cornbread for her squirrels. Her biggest love was nature and being outdoors.

Survivors include 3 children, 7 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, her father, and 4 siblings.

She is preceded in death by her husband Charles, whom she married on March 3rd, 1999; 1 daughter, and her mother, Iona.

In accordance with Dorothy’s wishes, no public services will be held.
