STRAUGHN- Donna Mae Houk Scott, 56, passed away Monday evening January 11, 2016 at I.U. Ball Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. Donna was born on January 28, 1959 in Greenfield, Indiana and graduated from Greenfield Central with the class of 1977. Donna's family was her life, she was a caring mother and has been the caretaker of her two grandsons whom she loved with all her heart. She had worked as cashier at the New Lisbon Truck Plaza for several years and was a member of the Straughn Community Chapel. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Duard Scott II on June 4, 1992. They were married in Greenfield on November 11, 1978. Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer Scott and son, Charles D. Scott III; grandsons , Myles James and Charles Wyatt Scott, all of Straughn; father, Donald (Patsy) Houk, of Greenfield; mother, Doris (Meek) Coplin of Pendleton; sisters, Sherry (Jess) Brokering of Montrose, CO, Diana (John) Winnett and Mary (Todd) Lister of Anderson and brother, Timothy Houk of Greenfield. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of a Memorial Service at 7 p.m. on Wednesday January 20 2016 at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, 115 West U.S. Hwy. 40 Lewisville .
