Donna Feemster

Cambridge City – Donna Feemster, 84, of Cambridge City passed peacefully May 1, 2026.

The fourth of five daughters born to Garl and Pauline (Scott) Ledbetter, Donna cherished her simple Pershing, Indiana upbringing. Family was everything to Donna and she expressed her love through food. She always remembered and prepared everyone’s favorite dishes. Her culinary skills extended beyond the family table as she was known for catering small and large events and creating magnificent custom cakes for weddings, birthdays, graduations and other special occasions for more than 20 years.

Left to celebrate her life and remember our great times together are her daughter. Jennifer Russell and husband John of Cambridge City and their grandson, Purdue University student Leo Russell, who Donna adored; sisters, Shirley McDonald of Marysville, Ohio and Ruth Birge of Hendersonville, North Carolina; nieces and a nephew. Silvia Hamilton of Cambridge City is a great friend and chosen honorary member of the family.

In accordance with Donna’s wishes, there will be no public services. The family will gather privately to laugh, remember and reminisce.

There are not enough words to express our admiration and gratitude to Dr. Edmond O’Leary and the amazing nurses of Reid Health 5 East and Reid Health Hospice. Thank you for everything.
