LEWISVILLE- Donn Stevens, 68

After an extended battle with cancer, Donn passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday November 22nd, 2023, while surrounded by his family. Donn was born in Rushville, Indiana on June 21st, 1955, to Weldon and Martha (Fordice) Stevens. He graduated from Rushville High school with the class of 1973. Donn married the love of his life, the former Paula Jefferis, on October 26th, 1984. He worked as a machinist for P.O.C. Industries in Mays for 47 years until his retirement in 2017. Donn attended Salem United Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing, playing the drums, repairing mowers, tinkering on projects, and gardening. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandsons.  He was a beloved husband, father, son, and papaw.  Donn made an impact on the lives of many. His death is a great loss to all who knew and loved him.

Donn is survived by his wife of 39 years, Paula; three sons, Ryan (Jennifer) Stevens, Jason, and Justin Stevens; three grandsons, Kaden, Kameron, and Karson Stevens; his mother, Martha Stevens; one brother, Bob Stevens; and one sister, Connie (Dave) Porter; several nieces and nephews.

Donn was preceded in death by his father; infant brother, David Stevens; and sister in-law, Dianna Stevens.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Donn from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Saturday December 2nd, 2023, at Marshall and Erlewein Funeral Home - Lewisville Chapel. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at the Lewisville Cemetery.
