RICHMOND- Donald Ray Wallen, 71, passed away peacefully at Brickyard Healthcare- Golden Rule in Richmond, Indiana, on Friday, November 11th, 2022. Donald was born on January 26th, 1951, to the late Frank Sanford and Ethel (Jones) Wallen. He was raised in Dublin and was a 1969 graduate of Straughn High School, he graduated from Ball State and received his bachelor's degree in communications in 1973. Donald spent his adult life living in the Richmond community and worked in different occupations, as a manager for Checker Gas Stations in Cambridge City and Connersville, at Richmond State Hospital, and D & J Manufactured Homes.

Donald is preceded in death by niece, Debbie Wallen.

Donald is survived by two brothers, Gene of Dublin, and Dan Wallen of South Carolina; two nieces and two nephews.

Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home has been entrusted with Donald's cremation services. Donald wished to be memorialized privately with burial at South Lawn Cemetery in Dublin, Indiana.
