NEW CASTLE - Dennis Edwards, 78, of Lewisville passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Henry County Hospital in New Castle. He was born on September 22, 1934 to Frank Leonard & Loci Mildred (York) Edwards. On December 24, 1954 he married Phyllis A. Boyd in New Castle. Dennis owned and operated Edwards Auto Sales for over 22 years before his retirement in 2009. Survivors include four children, Phillip A. (Rose) Edwards of Milton, Indiana, Danny L. (Amy) Edwards of Dublin, Indiana, David W. Edwards (Johnnie Sink) of Liberty, Indiana, Lori A. (Robert) Schweitzer of Los Angeles, California; seven brothers and sisters, Gwendoline (Wendell) Jones, Walter Edwards, Bobby Edwards, Frankie (Mary) Edwards, all of Albany, Kentucky, Wandaline Williams of New Castle, Indiana, A.B. (Phyllis) Edwards of Muncie, Indiana; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Dennis was preceded in death by his father and brother, Eugene Edwards. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Brother Jim Noggle will officiate. Burial will follow in the Lewisville Cemetery, Lewisville, Indiana. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 29, 2013 at the funeral home.
