CAMBRIDGE CITY- Delores A. Hickman, 74, passed away at her home of 50 years on Thursday morning February 16, 2012. A daughter of the late John and Garnet (Blackford) Gilbert, Delores was born in Richmond, Indiana on August 2, 1937. Delores has lived in the Western Wayne community for most of her life. She retired from Paul Casket Company after 23 years of service there. Delores was an avid reader and enjoyed doing embroidery and crocheting. Survivors include her husband Robert Eugene "Bob" Hickman, whom she married in Richmond, Indiana in November of 1963; several nieces and nephews and 2 special friends, Nancy and Freda. Delores was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Rader and an infant brother. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday February 18, 2012 at the Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City. The Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
