NEW CASTLE-  David Ray Worthington, 62, of New Castle, passed away Wednesday December 22, 2021 at his father's home in New Lisbon, Indiana.  David was born in New Castle, Indiana on June 20, 1959.  He had lived in Florida and worked in landscaping before an automobile accident left him disabled.

Survivors include his father, William Emeral Worthington of New Lisbon; 3 siblings, Debbie Melton of New Castle, Tamara Dye and Billy Worthington both of Virginia; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

David was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Ann (Decker) Williams on February 22, 2017 and his brother in-law, William "Rick" Melton on September 20, 2019.

David wished to be memorialized privately. No services are planned at this time.
