CAMBRIDGE CITY - David Sprouls, 70, of Cambridge City passed away on Sunday evening, October 6, 2013 at Reid Hospital in Richmond. David was born in Clinton, Indiana on December 31, 1942. He was a 1960 graduate of the Indiana School for the Deaf and worked at MEG for 25 years before his retirement. In recent years, under the guardianship of Achieva Resources, David was able to keep his independence and make many new friends. It was David's wish to thank all of his friends, neighbors and police department for providing him with loving friendship over the years. David returned this love by choosing to "Donate Life" by becoming an organ and tissue donor. Survivors include his brother, Billy Sprouls of Clinton; several nieces, nephews and extended family members. David was preceded in death by his father, Jasper Ray Sprouls in 1967; mother, Naomi (Stokes) Earlywine in 1993; step father, Ollie Earlywine; brothers, Bobby Sprouls in 1981 and Lloyd Sprouls in 1963. A graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, October 11, 2013 at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Clinton, Indiana.
