David Roy Sharp, 73, passed away in the early morning hours at Brickyard-Golden Rule nursing home in Richmond, Indiana, on Friday February 16th. He was born on March 26th, 1950, at New Castle Memorial Hospital, to the late Ruth (Heaston) Stiens and Lester Roy Sharp. Formerly of Cambridge City, he graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1968. He worked as a Salesman for Rex T.V. & Appliance. David was married to Barbara (Thomas) Sharp on June 6th, 1971, in Cambridge City. David enjoyed many hobbies, over the years he thought of himself as a pool hustler, a fish-whisperer, and a practical prankster. He always had a joke or a story for anyone who would listen or not.

David is survived by his wife, Barabara; two children, a daughter, Krystal (Fiancée Roscoe) Sharp and a son, Lester Sharp; and four grandchildren, Tearin Moore, Dreyden Moore, Kassandra Sharp, and Katarina Sharp; and one step-grandchild, Kyle Russell; one brother, Michael (Fiancee Debra) Sharp; one sister, Jewell (husband Stan) Ohms; and many nieces and nephews.
