HAGERSTOWN- David P. Stout, 22, of Hagerstown, passed away on Tuesday evening January 14, 2014 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana. David was born in New Castle, Indiana on February 22, 1991, a son of David M. and Donna F. (Peckinpaugh) Stout of Hagerstown. David was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the class of 2009. He served his country with honor in the United States Army with the 101st Infantry Division in Fort Knox Kentucky. He currently was a student at the University of Northwestern Ohio. David loved to spend time with his family and friends, and enjoyed off road motor sports, especially dirt bike riding, diesel trucks, demo derbies, bull riding and was a member of the Whitewater Valley H.O.G. Chapter (Harley Owners Group). David is survived by his parents, 6 siblings, Michelle Snyder-Stolle, Douglas (Angie) Snyder II, Melissa (Shawn) Snyder-Jackson, Danny (Kim) Snyder, Eric D. (Erin) Stout of Port Clinton, OH, Rebekah L. (Pete) Stout of San Rafael, CA; maternal grandparents, Carroll and Edith (Dale) Peckinpaugh; 13 nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles and cousins; and a special grandmother, Pauline Snyder and her son, Douglas Snyder I. David was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Philip and Doris (Brenneman) Stout. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday January 18, 2014 at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. President Joshua Nunnery with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints will officiate. Burial will follow at the Brick Cemetery south of Hagerstown. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. on Friday January 17 and prior to the services on Saturday at the funeral home.
