CONNERSVILLE- Darrell Spurlock Jr., 39, passed away on Wednesday morning, July 10, 2013 at Fayette Regional Hospital in Connersville, Indiana. Darrell was born in Connersville, Indiana on July 23, 1973. He was raised in the Cambridge City community and graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1991. He had worked for Visteon in Connersville and has made his home there for the past 5 years. In his leisure time Darrell enjoyed hunting, fishing, listening to music and reading. Darrell was preceded in death by his father, Darrell Spurlock Sr. in 1996. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Vicki Jo and Odis "Bo" Lady of Dublin; sister, Nicole "Marie" Downing of Cambridge City; 2 nephews, Skylar Downing and Xander Ballard; uncles, Gerald "Gary" (Kim) Phillips of Cambridge City, James (Kris) Phillips of Oklahoma and Harold (Carolyn) Spurlock of Connersville; several cousins. Visitation is Thursday, July 25, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Leroy Tout American Legion Post 338, located one block north of U. S. 40 on the corner of Milton and Harrison Streets, Dublin. A memorial service will follow at the Dublin Gospel Mission Church.
