New Castle- Danny Joseph Block, 45, passed away Saturday afternoon March 28, 2015 at the Emergency Room of Henry County Memorial Hospital in New Castle, Indiana. A son of the late Lawrence Barry and Corrine (Workman) Block, Danny was born in Livingston, New Jersey on March 28, 1970. Formerly of Florence, Kentucky, Danny received a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from Northern Kentucky University and worked as a police officer for the Walton Kentucky Police Department and the Boone County Kentucky Sheriff Department. He has made his home in New Castle for the past 1 ½ years. Survivors include his wife of 6 years, the former Amber Marie Chew. They were married in Erlanger, Kentucky on December 20, 2008; 4 children, Joey and Christopher Block, Collin and Corbin King; 2 siblings, Connie and Paul Block. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at White Branch Church of the Brethren.
