IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Cooper Max
Newton
March 22, 2012 – October 12, 2012
CAMBRIDGE CITY, Ind. - Cooper Max Newton, age 6 months, received his wings on October 12, 2012 in the arms of his mommy and daddy. Cooper was born to Clint and Beth Newton on March 22, 2012 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana. He spent the first three months of his life at home with his family, watching his brothers play baseball and being the center of attention. He could bring a smile to anyone's face with a grin and melt any heart with his amazing blue eyes. The last three months of his life was truly a journey, one that had purpose and a special plan that would be lived out at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. This journey was one filled with many up and downs, but always a "Cooper Smile" to make the day better. As he continued to endure increasing health concerns, his plan become more apparent. Cooper was sent to us as a teacher. He was a teacher of compassion, love, patience, strength and fight. He taught his family how to be patient, to love unconditionally and to be strong under any circumstance. He loved to prove the doctors wrong and teach them to never assume that he was like any other and taught the nurses that they needed to be well versed because he wasn't going to make anything easy. In Cooper's short 6 months of life, he touched the hearts of more people than many could touch in a 100 years. Now as an angel in Heaven's garden, his journey continues with even more purpose. Cooper will continue to teach from afar while staying so close in our hearts. Cooper is survived by his parents, Clint and Beth Newton; brothers, Gavin and Gunnar Newton; Paternal grandparents, Rick and Teresa Newton; Maternal grandparents, Doug and Patti Krull; Paternal Great-grandparents, Bob and Ann Newton; Great-great aunt; Mildred Ford; Great aunts; Susan Newton, Kathy (Jim) Hall; Aunt, Joy Bales; Uncles, Nathan (Sara) Newton, Nick (Rhonda) Newton, Ron (Clara) Bales; many cousins and many more friends. Cooper is preceded in death by his Paternal Great-great grandmother, Mary Ford; Paternal great grandmother, Vera Thomas; Maternal great grandparents, Bob and Maxine Pool; Great uncle, Gene Thomas; Cousin, Dougie Bales.
