CAMBRIDGE CITY- Glenita "Cookie" Dudley, 74, passed away on Wednesday December 24, 2014 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana. A daughter of the late Lester and Margie (Robbins) Sorah, Glenita was born in Pennington Gap, Virginia on December 21, 1940. Glenita was raised in the Straughn community and graduated from Straughn High School. She retired from Visteon- Connersville Plant after 21 years of service. Glenita enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and will always be remembered for her love of cooking. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Don Dudley. They were married in Lewisville on February 18, 1962; 2 children, Danette (Von) Addison of Hagerstown and Dean (Becky Porfidio) Dudley of Richmond; 3 grandchildren, Dana Henderson, Amber and Aaron Addison; 1 great grandson, Garren Henderson; 1 sister, Shelia Fowler of Wapakoneta, OH. Glenita was also preceded in death by her brother, Bill Sorah. Following cremation, the family will receive friends from noon untill 1 p.m. on Friday January 2, 2015 at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral home, Dublin.
