CAMBRIDGE CITY - Connie Jean Dickerson, 70, born on September 26, 1947 to Robert E. and Audrey (South) Dickerson left us to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on October 18, 2017 at her home with her partner and her son by her side. Connie grew up in Middletown, Ohio and worked in the Cincinnati area many years before moving to Indiana. Connie was a fun, laid back, young at heart woman. She enjoyed loving and caring for her cats, spending time at home "piddling" and being with her family.

She leaves behind her best friend, keeper of the heart and partner for life, Sierra K. Godwin of Cambridge City; her son, Robert (Sarah) Dickerson of Cambridge City: a grandson of whom she was extremely proud, Kane Dickerson, currently serving with the United States Army in Afghanistan; 3 sisters, Sue (Dick) Rupp of Angola, Cathie Dickerson of Middletown, OH and Vickie (Bill) Lambert of Monroe, OH; nieces and nephews. Connie was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Barbara Jo Dickerson.
