Milton: Cliffie J. Flannery, 92 of rural Milton passed away Sunday, December 5, 2010 at Glen Oaks Health Campus in New Castle following a brief illness. She was born January 9, 1918 in Owsley County Kentucky the daughter of the late H.P. "Buddy" and Clora (Brandenburg) Robinson. Cliffie was a homemaker and on January 2, 1939 in Booneville, Kentucky she married Lowell Earl Flannery for 63 years prior to his death in 2002. Her hobbies included quilting, gardening and most of all spending time with her family. She is survived by her 2 sons; Edward Lowell (Barbara) Flannery of Beloit, WI and Rev. Robert "Bob" (Doreen) Flannery of Connersville, daughter; Alma Jane (Ron) Padgett of New Castle, 3 grandchildren; Jeanine (Randy) Snyder, Janet Riley and Rob (Gina) Flannery , 4 great grandchildren; Kelsee and Weslee Flannery , Jonathon and Josh Snyder, step - granddaughter; Vanessa Holbert, step-great granddaughter; Isabella Holbert, step-great-grandson; Grant Morrison, sister, Irene Flannery of Booneville, KY, brother; Jack (Corene) Robinson of McKee, KY, 3 sister-in-laws; Martha Gamache, Thelma Flannery both of Florida and Freda Flannery of Pershing, brother-in-law; Hosea Flannery of Florida, speical friends; Violet Harries, Darlene and Charles Hartsock and their families, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by parents ,husband, sister; Bethel Flannery , infant brother Marvin Robinson and several brothers - in - laws. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday December 10, 2010 at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home in Dublin, with Rev. Robert Flannery officating. Burial will be at the South Mound Cemetery West Lawn Addition in New Castle. The family request donations be made to the Bentonville or Milton fire departments or the Dublin Community Building envelopes available at the funeral home.
