CONNERSVILLE- Cindy Fox, 55, of rural Connersville, went to be with her Lord on Thursday evening January 16, 2014. Cindy was born in New Castle, Indiana on November 16, 1958. She grew up on a farm in rural Fayette County, attended Bentonville Elementary School and graduated from Connersville Senior High School with the class of 1978. A love of farming stayed with Cindy throughout her life. She enjoyed farm work, raising cattle and was an avid horse lover who enjoyed caring for her horses, horseback riding and trail riding. Cindy enjoyed people and was a trusted housekeeper to many area households. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and was proud of her entire family. Cindy was a member of the Cambridge City Christian Church. Survivors include her husband Garry D. Fox. Garry and Cindy were married in Jellico, Tennessee on December 30, 1977; 1 son, Darrick A. Fox; 2 grandsons, Landin Robert Fox and Caiden John Fox; mother, Alice M. Oberhelman-Lawrence of Dublin; 1 sister- Sharon Krause of Milton; 2 brothers, Ron (Marilyn) Oberhelman of Milton and Marvin (Cynthia) Oberhelman of Pershing; 7 nieces and nephews. Cindy was preceded in death by her father, Merlin L. Oberhelman; step father, Marion Lawrence; niece, Darla Krause. Visitation for Cindy will be from 4 p.m. until the time of services at 7 p.m. on Tuesday January 21, 2014. Rev. Danny Berry will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at the Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City.
