DUBLIN - Charlotte (Craig) Suttles, 84, passed away early Thursday morning, October 3, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. She was born on October 3, 1929 in New Castle, Indiana to John and Barbara (Herbert) Craig. Charlotte spent most of her life in the Dublin area before moving to Ohio about four years ago. She is a 1947 graduate of Lincoln High School and in 1949, Charlotte married Stephen Suttles, Sr. in Cambridge City, Indiana. He preceded her in death on May 15, 2000. She worked for many years in the food service department for Western Wayne Schools and was a member of the Dublin Communty Club. Survivors include three sons, Stephen Jr. (Gloria) Suttles of Schertz, Texas, Robert (Sabrina) Suttles of Straughn, Ronald (Cynthia) Suttles of Cambridge City; grandchildren, Jason Suttles, Renee Suttles, Robert Suttles, Jr., Denise (Randy) Kincaid, Valerie (Jason) Smith, Joshua (Mandi) Suttles, Jeremy Suttles, Kristopher Suttles, Brandy Decatur; great-grandchildren, Devin, Kyler, Austin, Nathaniel, Landon, Aiden, Ansly, Skylyn, Rebecca, Noah and Alyssa Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Darrell Suttles on June 23, 1988; sister, Catherine Gray; a grandson in 1972; granddaughter, Christa Decatur on December 25, 1995. Funeral services for Charlotte will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 7, 2013 at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin with Pastor Chris Sitler officiating. Burial in South Lawn Cemetery, Dublin will take place at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday evening, October 6, 2013 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
