CAMBRIDGE CITY- Charlotte E. Foster, 94, of Cambridge City, passed away Friday morning September 20, 2013 at Ambassador Healthcare in Centerville, Indiana. A daughter of the late Walter Lon and Junette (Elliott) Coleman, Charlotte was born in Cambridge City on August 22, 1919. Formerly of the Milroy area, Charlotte had been employed at the Milroy Canning Factory. A homemaker, Charlotte was a lovinging mother, grandmother and member of the Non Denominational Christian Church. Survivors include 4 children, Betty Foster of Cambridge City, Patricia Wharton of Richmond, Teresa Tieman of Spring Lake, N. Carolina and Daniel Foster of Dublin; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren. Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband Leslie A. Foster on October 11, 1981; 2 sons, Larry Williams and Leslie Foster II; 3 sisters, Laurestine Mattix, Margaret Burris and Hazel Mashino. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday September 24, 2013 at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Pastors Dennis Kinnan and Scott Porter will officiate. Burial and committal services will follow at 1 p.m. at the Layton Cemetery, located three miles south of Milroy in Rush County on County Road 100 W. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 - 8 p.m. on Monday September 23rd .
