NEW CASTLE - Charlotte Morse Copeland, 84, of New Castle passed away Friday, March 6, 2015 at Stonebrooke Rehabilitation Centre. A daughter of the late George and Helen (Morse) Anderson, Charlotte was born on May 26, 1930 in Knightstown, Indiana. She graduated from Knightstown High School with the class of 1948. In August of 1954 she married Dale Copeland in Henry County, Indiana. Charlotte retired from Draper Shade, Inc. in Spiceland, Indiana with over 20 years of service. In her leisure, she enjoyed animals, especially cats and dogs. Survivors include her children, Duane (Trudi) Copeland, Barbara (Tony) Russell all of Spiceland; granddaughter, Alyssia Newby of Knightstown; 2 step grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 4 step great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dale in 1997; brother, George Anderson; sister, Lida Ruth Lambert. Family and friends may gather from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Lewisville. Pastor Chris Sitler will officiate. Burial will follow at Circle Grove Cemetery, Spiceland.
