Connersville: Charlie Don Young Sr. 71, of Connersville, passed away Thursday July 16, 2009 at the Veterans Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born May 19, 1938 in Dalton Georgia, the son of Robert and Mamie A (Gates) Young. He served his country in the U.S. Navy and has a Bacholors Degree in Sociology from Butler University. Charlie was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans and a member of the Connersville Amvets. Surviving relatives include sons; Charlie Young Jr. of Arcanum, OH and Tim Young of KS, daughters; Debbie Cullipher of Tyler, TX, Melissa of KS, Tiffany Young of Carmel and Shannon Young of Richmond, Sisters; Carolyn Colvin of Straughn and Mary Richardson of Richmond, brothers Richard Young of Connersville and Mike Young of Muncie. Preceding him in death, parents sister- Barbara Razor and 5 children. Graveside services will be Monday July 20, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the South Lawn Cemetery in Dublin with full Miltary Honors.
