NEW LISBON - Cecil Derrickson, Jr (Pap) 78, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on Sept 13, 2018. Jr grew up in Straughn, Indiana and graduated from Straughn High School in 1959. After graduation he served in the United States Air Force. He was employed and retired from Dana Corporation in Hagerstown, Indiana after 33 years. After retirement he was employed at Amtek Corporation. Jr was an avid sports fan and coached little league sports for many years. Jr enjoyed supporting his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren in athletics and activities throughout the years. Jr enjoyed racing with his family which includes four generations.

Jr is survived by the love of his life Bette Derrickson. Jr and Bette recently celebrated 57 years of marriage together. Jr has two sons Mike Derrickson (Gretchen) and Ron Derrickson (Jeani). Grandchildren Lindsey Jessie (Stewart), Tony Derrickson (Natalie), Josh Derrickson (Ashley), Kristina Craig (Brice), and Nathan Derrickson. Great grandchildren include Kannon and Hadley Jones, Cole Jessie, Anna Derrickson, Bryant and Kenley Cornelius, Audrey, Ellie, and Baby Craig. A sister Pat Bryant, and two sister in laws Jane Hightower and Linda Hunt.

Jr was preceded in death by his parents Cecil Sr and Bertha Derrickson and four siblings. In laws Lewis and Mary Hunt.

Private graveside services were held on Saturday September, 15th with family at the New Lisbon Cemetery.
