Hagerstown : Carolyn Sue Owens, 69, of Hagerstown, IN passed away on Monday July 19, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on September 21, 1940 in Wayne County, IN, the daughter of the late Paul & Freda Pauline (Longnecker) Hanning. On May 15, 1965 in Hagerstown, she married Ronald Owens. Carolyn loved to cook, work in her garden and taking care of her husband and children. Surviving relatives include husband of 45 years Ronald Owens of Hagerstown, son; Rodney Owens (Julie) of New Lisbon, two daughters; Rhonda Owens of Hagerstown and Rachel Owens of New Lisbon, several cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceded her in death ; parents and sister Barb Wilson. Services will be on Saturday July 24, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home in Dublin, with pastor Gary Taylor will officate the service. Burial will follow at the South Lawn Cemetery in Dublin. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday July 23, 2010 at the funeral home.
