Cambridge City- Carolyn (Kuhn) Limburg, 70, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday October 4, 2011 in Muncie, Indiana. A daughter of the late Lloyd H. and Clara Mae (Rhodus) Kuhn, Carolyn was born in Richmond, Indiana on November 8, 1940. She has lived in the Western Wayne community for most of her life and was a graduate of Lincoln High School. Carolyn loved to travel all over the country with her husband and children and enjoyed doing needle work, embroidery, crotcheting and puzzles. She attended the Dublin Friends Church. Carolyn worked for Danners 5 & 10 where she met the love of her life John Limburg, she had also worked at Olan Mills Photography, the gift shop at Nickerson Farms in New Lisbon, Millers Ice Cream Parlor, CVS and MEG/Steelworks in the wood shop for 10 years until her retirement. Survivors include her husband of 53 years John A. Limburg. They were married in Connersville, Indiana on April 30, 1958. 5 children, Julie A. Limburg of Cambridge City, Pamela D. (Ron) Barnes of Cambridge City, John F. (Peggy L.) Limburg of Milton, Jane A. (Daryl) Frith of New Castle and Aaron R. (Kelly) Limburg of Cambridge City; 5 grandchildren, Allison LaVelle, Laura Kelly, Harrison Scott and Daryl Wyatt Frith and Sophia Grace Limburg; 1 sister Patricia (Kuhn) Roudabaugh; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Carolyn was preceded in death by her grandson Samuell David Barnes on January 13, 2010; 5 brothers, Robert, Gene, Harold, Don and Larry Kuhn;. Funeral services wiil be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday October 10, 2011 at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Rev. Chris Sitler of the Dublin Friends Church will officiate. Burial will follow at the Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City. Visitation will be from 2 - 5 p.m on Sunday October 9, 2011 at the funeral home.
