DUBLIN- Carlene Abrams Corn, 67, left those who loved her, unexpectedly Sunday,
March 16, 2025. She had been in ill health for several months.
She was born on September 26, 1957, in New Castle, Indiana. Carlene has family
and friends who will cherish and share her in their memories.
Carlene lived all her life in her hometown, Dublin, Indiana. She was a
hardworking and very dependable employee. For most of her life she was a
cashier for several gas stations and her last employment was at the Liberty
Bell in Liberty, Indiana. Everyone who knew or encountered Carlene, loved her
for her humor and kind heart. She would give anyone help if she knew they
needed it. She also had lots of wonderful friends that would help her at any
time too. She loved telling the funny things her great grandkids would do
and say. Carlene enjoyed eating out, watching TV, visiting her great-
granddaughters, and friends.
She leaves behind the love of her life and caregiver, Bill Corn.
Her son, William, and his wife Angie Corn, of Tennessee, granddaughter, Aaralyn
Hudson and grandson, William Phillips.
Her daughter, Misty Corn of Rushville Indiana, grandson Tyler Allen of
Winchester, Indiana, great grandsons Leelynn, and Lenox Allen. Grandson,
Daniel Allen (Megan), great granddaughters, Remmy and Amelia Allen of
Rushville, Indiana.
Her sister, Shelley and husband Roger Davis of Milton, Indiana. Her nephew,
Partrick and his wife, Amanda Davis, great niece, Kaetlin (Davis Andrews)
and husband Ian Andrews, great-great, niece, Wren Andrews, great nieces,
Jade and Jazmyn Davis, and great nephew, Dawson Davis all of Brooklyn,
Indiana.
She will be sadly missed by all and especially by her best friend, Gina
Neeley.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday March 21, 2025 at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Graveside services will follow at 1:30 at South Lawn Cemetery in Dublin with Paul Pitcher officiating.
