MILTON- Carl Simon Couch, 66, our beloved, has gone to meet his heavenly father. Carl died on November 18, 2010 of natural causes at his home in Kenosha, Wisconsin where he has lived for the past 43 years. Carl was born on April 22, 1944 in Owsely County, Kentucky. He attended school in Kentucky and moved to Milton, Indiana in 1963. In 1967 he moved to Wisconsin and worked as a machinist for Outboard Marine Corp. in Waukegan, Illinois. He retired in 1998 after 30 years of service. Carl loved to hunt, fish and ride motorcycles. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He leaves behind many wonderful memories that will be cherished forever. Survivors include his sons- Richard (Lisa) Couch of Wills Point, Texas and Geno (Jennifer) Couch of Cambridge City, Adam Muse, Nick (Cassandra) Muse, Robert Campbell, Stephen Wilson and daughter- Melissa Wilson all of Kenosha, Wisconsin; 3 grandchildren- Cassandra Nicole, Cody William and Colton Pepper; former wife- Shirley Couch of Cambridge City; 1 brother- Dayton (Helen) Couch of Liberty; 4 sisters- Beatrice Barrett, Velma Lakes and Ethel (Jimmy) Samms all of Connersville, Sharon Kay (Jr.) Horsley of Frankfort, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews. Carl was preceded in death by his parents- Elijah and Eunice (Carmack) Couch of Oneida, Kentucky; 2 brothers- Gilbert and Chester of Frankfort, Kentucky; 2 sisters- Cliffie Allen of Frankfort, Kentucky and Barbara Berry of Dayton, Ohio. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the time of services at 6 p.m. on Tuesday November 23, 2010 at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home- 1993 Cumberland Street / Dublin, IN 47335. Rev. Herman Chaney will officiate. Cremation will follow.
