CAMBRIDGE CITY-  Brian Lee Carlin, 41, passed away on Monday March 22, 2021 in Richmond, Indiana.  Brian was born in New Castle, Indiana on April 20, 1979.  Brian lived most of his life in the Cambridge City community and graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1998.  He attended Ivy Tech in Richmond and had worked at a granary in Rush County. Brian loved to spend time with his children and other family members.

Survivors include his mother, Flora M. Boyd of Cambridge City; 5 children, Emily, Bryson, Layla, Dontay and Janelle Carlin; 2 siblings, Renae Younghouse and Kevin Carlin; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Brian was preceded in death by his step-father, Larry Neal Boyd on November 13, 2008 and a brother, Stephen Carlin on May 19, 1996.

Following cremation at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin, a Celebration of Brian's Life will be held at the Lawrence H. Bertsch American Legion Post in Cambridge City from noon until 5 p.m. on Saturday March 27th.
