IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Betty
Youst
July 25, 1937 – March 13, 2022
NEW CASTLE- Betty Jean Youst (84) went home to heaven on March 13, 2022 after sustaining injuries from an automobile accident on New Year's Eve. She was able to spend her final days at home surrounded by her family in New Castle, Indiana. She was born July 25, 1937 in Lewisville, Indiana to the late Clarence and Flonnie (Jasper) Wesley. She has been a proud Indiana resident all her life. She served as a waitress in many restaurants here in New Castle, including Nickerson Farms, Top Hat, Mac Steakhouse, and Maxwell House before being employed at Chrysler Corporation where she retired in 2003.
Betty was a member of Foursquare Gospel Church for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her two great granddaughters, Aaliyah and Alexah. In her free time, you would often find her reading or doing a word search. She always looked forward to her daily 9:30am phone calls with her best friend, Joyce Lacy.
Survived by her children, Patricia Fulton of New Castle, Martha (Greg) Davis of Greenfield, and Bruce (Shelly) Youst of Silver Point, Tennessee. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Brandy Cable, John Cable, James (Gabrielle) Wise, Keith (Misty) Davis, Kara (Jeffrey) Cross, Bridgett (Justin) Lowhorn, Stephanie Whitehead, her 17 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and sister-in-laws, Izzy Wesley and Janet Wesley.
Betty was preceded in death by her son, Rex Youst, sister, Peggy Proffitt, and brothers, Ronnie Wesley and Rex Wesley.
