CAMBRIDGE CITY - Betty J. Wesseler, 80, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday March 24, 2018. Betty was born March 19, 1938 to Owen and Eva (Smith) Stewart in Middletown, Ohio. She lived most of her life in the Cambridge City community and graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1956. Betty and her husband Paul were married on June 2, 1956. She was an avid dog lover and supporter of Help the Animals Shelter in Richmond. If there was a stray dog within five miles of Betty, it always found its way to her. She was a much loved wife, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her grandson, Patrick Wesseler.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Paul; 4 children, Jamie (Susan) Wesseler of Greensboro, NC, Terri (Dennis) Orndorff of Greenfield, Lisa (Mark) McClain of Cambridge City and Marc (Karen) Wesseler of Elmhurst, IL; 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 1 brother; 2 sisters; several nieces and nephews.

Private graveside services will be held on Thursday March 29, 2018 at Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City.
