Mt. Auburn- Betty Lou Joslin, 92, of Mt. Auburn, passed away early Saturday morning November 22nd , 2025. Betty was born on March 14th, 1933, in Milton, Indiana. She lived a life marked by her steadfast devotion to God, and her family. Betty was known for her dedication to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and her steadfast faith in Christ. Betty worked as a Cashier at Cutshaw's Market for over 30 years. She loved music and traveling. Betty also loved watching college and professional basketball.
She is survived by her children, Anita of Cambridge City, Leslie (Kathy) of Dublin, Troy of Mt. Auburn, and Roy (Sharon) of Rosedale, Maryland; grandchildren, Daryl Smith of Pershing, Todd Eblen of Hagerstown, Melissa Dick of Dublin, Sherrie Tiernan of Salina Kansas, Jason Joslin of Crown Point, Misty Fornecker of Palmer Tennessee, Traci Rogers of Solomon Kansas, Staci Joslin of Plainfield, and Haley Smith of Rosedale, Maryland; a multitude of great grandchildren whom she loved dearly; also a brother, Gerald Longnecker of Modoc and sister, Katherine Arnold of Peru.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Howard on June 18, 2014; her parents, Norman and Alice (Johnson) Longnecker; siblings, Patricia, Marvin, Norma, Wilma, and Elizabeth; two daughters, Diana Eblen and Teressa Joslin.
Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday November 30th, 2025 at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Funeral Service will be at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Monday December 1st . Daryl Bertram will officiate. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City.
