LEWISVILLE- Rebecca Ann "Becky" Neal, 71, passed away peacefully at her home in Lewisville late Thursday evening August 28, 2025 with her loved ones at her side.  The daughter of Dewey R. and Martha Rose (Gauker) Fairchild, Rebecca was born in New Castle, Indiana on August 16, 1954.  She was a lifetime resident of the Lewisville community and a 1972 graduate of Tri High School.  Becky married the love of her life, Bill Neal in Richmond, Indiana on December 9, 1972.  She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother and took great pride in being able to help raise her grandsons.  Becky worked at Tri High in the cafeteria and was a member of the Merry Twelve Euchre Club and former member of the Lewisville Fire Department.

Survivors include her husband of nearly fifty-three years, William Henry "Bill" Neal; daughter, Missy (Hector) Mercedes; 2 grandsons, Liam and Lucian Mercedes; nieces and nephews.  Becky was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Nathaniel David Neal on August 14, 2024; 2 brothers, David Allen and Kenneth Ray Fairchild.

Following cremation, Becky's Life will be celebrated from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday September 2, 2025 at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Lewisville Chapel.
