Barb age 66, passed peacefully October 31, 2021, at Auburn Village in Auburn, Indiana. Barb was born on October 2, 1955 and lived most of her life in Anderson, Indiana.  A daughter to the late Maxine (Lawrence) and William Mahaney, Barb was one of eight children. A widow to Russell Pratt, who passed on December 26, 2003, Barb and Russell shared one child, Laura S. Conn, who was born on September 14, 1972 and passed on June 12, 2017.  Though she didn't belong to a church, she believed in God.  Barb worked for many years at Village Pantry in the kitchen.  She was known and loved for her big personality. She always spoke what was on her mind. She had a loud and joyful personality that meant you were always in for a laugh. She enjoyed playing cards, spending time with her family and friends and cooking delicious meals. She surrounded everyone she knew with love.

She is survived by 4 grandchildren, Chealstie, Stella, Nick and Hannah; 1 sister, Dorthy and 8 great  grandchildren.

Barb wished to be memorialized privately. Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin, has been entrusted with the cremation arrangements.
