Arthur Leo Snyder, 79, of Cambridge City passed away Tuesday morning, March 22, 2016 at Henry County Hospital in New Castle. A son of the late Paul and Frances (Linville) Snyder, Leo was born on October 26, 1936 in Rush County, Indiana. Leo worked at Visteon in Connersville, Indiana for 38 years before his retirement in 1994. In his leisure, he enjoyed watching westerns, collecting knives and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife of over 59 years, the former Carol Hartwell whom he married on September 4, 1956 in Connersville. Sons, Larry (Debbie) Snyder of Everton, Indiana, Terry Snyder of Cambridge City; grandchildren, Justin (Stephanie) Snyder, Terry Jr. (Amber) Snyder, Amy (Dave) Hanson, Chelsie (Mike) Campbell, Alysha Snyder, Dakota (Kelsey) Cummins, Britney (Austin) North, Jessica (Josh) Sidell; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; sister, Patricia McGillem of Pershing; brother, LeRoy (Vickie) Snyder of Connersville. Family and friends may gather from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2016 at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. In honor of Leo's wishes, cremation will follow. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City at the convenience of the family.
